Position: Sourcing Consultant
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Duration: Contract

Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will play a key role in consulting on or participating in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Sourcing. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Sourcing deliverables, analyze challenges requiring in-depth evaluation, and collaborate with internal personnel to meet objectives. This role requires a solid understanding of sourcing policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Sourcing.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Sourcing deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Sourcing challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Collaborate with internal personnel to meet Sourcing deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities for direct and indirect goods and services supporting the Legal function.
• Develop sourcing strategies for products, services, and suppliers to optimize spend, create value, and reduce third-party risk.
• Analyze contract data, business objectives, and market conditions to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
• Review expiring agreements to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, service improvements, cost reduction, and timely renewals or competitive sourcing events.
• Negotiate commercial, operational, legal, governance, and risk terms while balancing stakeholder objectives and enterprise risk tolerance.
• Collaborate with Legal partners, peers, subject-matter experts, and managers to develop and amend agreements using appropriate language.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of Sourcing experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and category management, including developing sourcing strategies and achieving savings targets.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and commercial management, including drafting and reviewing contract language.
• Knowledge of AI, data, and technology contracting, including negotiating AI usage rights and addressing data processing, security, and compliance requirements.
• Strong collaboration and issue resolution skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders to resolve inquiries efficiently.

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
