Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance and repair work on piping systems, plumbing, environmental, sanitary, pool systems, and related components as directed.; Perform tasks in accordance with ISM/ISO, SQM standards, USPH guidelines, and environmental and safety policies.; Inspect, repair, and troubleshoot pumps, valves, fittings, and associated equipment; document work and report issues to supervision.; Maintain and conserve ship systems in scope (plumbing, environmental, sanitary, pool), ensuring proper operation and timely servicing.; Adhere to safety procedures and participate in drills; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.; Be flexible to work alternate shift schedules and respond to on-call or urgent maintenance needs as required.; Support cost containment through careful use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment; minimize waste and downtime.; Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete work orders efficiently; perform tasks as assigned without supervisory responsibilities.;

Qualifications & Training

Minimum of 2 years' experience onboard vessels or in a related industry is required.; Relevant plumbing, HVAC, or refrigeration certifications as applicable; Welder certification (DNV, Lloyds) or equivalent certification; Completed STCW95 and social responsibility training;
