Part-Time Oregon Wholesale Wine Representative

About Us

McCollum Family Vineyard is a growing, family-owned Oregon wine company founded by CJ and Elise McCollum. Our portfolio includes McCollum Heritage 91, a luxury collection of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé of Pinot Noir, and traditional-method sparkling wine, as well as wines produced under the McCollum Family Vineyard label.

We are building our brands through exceptional wine, trusted relationships, and placements with respected restaurants, hotels, private clubs, wine shops, and other premium accounts.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Oregon Wine Sales Representative to grow our self-distributed business with on-premise and off-premise accounts.
This opportunity is well suited to someone already connected to Oregon’s restaurant, wine, or hospitality community who wants to use their relationships and market knowledge to earn additional income.

The representative will focus primarily on the Portland metropolitan area and Willamette Valley, with selected opportunities elsewhere in Oregon. They will manage a flexible field-sales schedule while working with the National Sales Manager on account priorities, pricing, and market strategy.

Responsibilities

•  Develop new business with restaurants, hotels, private clubs, wine bars, and independent retailers.
•  Schedule and conduct buyer appointments, portfolio presentations, and trade tastings.
•  Secure new placements and generate repeat orders.
•  Maintain relationships with assigned and personally developed accounts.
•  Communicate key account activity, opportunities, and buyer feedback.
•  Submit accurate orders and provide timely sales follow-up.
•  Deliver orders generated through the representative’s own sales activity.

Who We Are Looking For

The right person is personable, entrepreneurial, organized, and comfortable asking for the sale.

Strong candidates will have:
•  Experience in wine, restaurants, hospitality, retail wine, beverage sales, or a related field.
•  Existing relationships within Oregon’s on-premise or off-premise wine community.
•  Knowledge of Oregon wine, particularly Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
•  The ability to prospect consistently and manage a flexible field-sales schedule.
•  A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and appropriate automobile insurance.
•  The ability to obtain and maintain any required OLCC Alcohol Service Permit.

Experience selling luxury wine or working with high-end restaurants, hotels, private clubs, or independent wine retailers is preferred.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Compensation

This is a part-time outside-sales position with commission-based compensation.
The representative will earn commissions on eligible sales and reorders under a written commission plan. Approved business mileage will be reimbursed separately. Additional details regarding commission rates, account assignments, and payment terms will be discussed during the interview process.
The position is designed to provide meaningful supplemental income for someone who can turn industry relationships, consistent field activity, and strong follow-through into new placements and repeat business.
