Salary: $45,760 - 49,920 per year Requirements:

• Experience with dental laboratory technology is preferred.
• Experience with 3Shape or exocad is preferred.
• Experience with 3D printers or CAD/CAM equipment is preferred.
• Experience with NAS or server environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, switches, and basic network troubleshooting is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Outlook is preferred.
• Experience with cybersecurity, antivirus/EDR, email protection, and backup systems is preferred.
• Experience handling HIPAA-related data security requirements is preferred.
• Experience supporting a business with 10 or more workstations/users is preferred.
• A degree or formal IT certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong hands-on IT experience in a business technology environment will be considered.
• Dental laboratory experience is a plus, though training will be provided for the right IT professional.

• Provide daily IT support for our dental laboratory employees and workstations.
• Troubleshoot Windows computers, printers, monitors, networking, and peripheral devices.
• Maintain and resolve issues with wired and wireless network connections.
• Support network storage, shared drives, backups, and file organization.
• Assist with digital dental workflows involving 3Shape, exocad, intraoral scanners, 3D printers, milling equipment, CAD/CAM systems, digital denture workflows, and STL and other dental file formats.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and file-transfer problems between our laboratory and dental offices.
• Help with software installs, updates, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Maintain communication between computers, servers, NAS/storage systems, printers, scanners, and other lab equipment.
• Assist with cybersecurity, antivirus/EDR, email protection, password policies, and system updates.
• Monitor backups and support disaster-recovery procedures.
• Help ensure HIPAA-conscious handling and transfer of dental and patient-related digital files.
• Document recurring technical issues and create solutions or SOPs to reduce repeat problems.
• Work with outside IT vendors and equipment or software providers when specialized support is needed.
• Help assess new technology and recommend improvements to our digital workflow.
• Train employees on basic technology, software, and cybersecurity practices as needed.
• Stay hands-on in keeping our production teams working efficiently.

We are Inter-Chrome Dental Laboratory, a rapidly growing dental lab in Chesapeake, VA that relies heavily on digital technology, CAD/CAM systems, 3D printing, digital scanners, and network-based workflows. This is a full-time, 100% on-site role working Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 7:00am to 3:30pm.
